What are options afterhearing such a tape? a) committing suicide, b) starting a carreer as aserialkiller or c) watering the flowers in your garden, going to the shop& buying an ice-cream, then going to the childrenís playground,quietly producing your gun and proceeding to shoot at everything that moves?The inlay says "The end is now. Fuck-U-tapes (Matjaz Galicic, Dragocajna 7 A,1216 Smlednik, Slovenia) sent me the Snajper/ Crklakicma/ Always Ultra3-way-split with a couple of examples from the shit/fun-noise section ina very nice package. While Snajper is more noisegrind with e-drums, Crk.uses vocals and effects to create their minimal noise. Always Ultra usesdifferent noises from household like vacuum-cleaner, obviously the guyis telling some shit in slovenian all the time. Pretty short and thereforeyou donít have the time to get bored. Ask also about the releasesfrom the Abnormal tapelabel.

Surely a memorable session was the session at the Kunstverladehallein Rüsselsheim where up to 33 different musicians took part. ThisCD comes with lots of detailed information and a couple of inspiring picturesthat show you the visual aspect of this work. I bet you surely get thehighlight bits of these 5 sessions, although I would say that editing isdone a bit strange, of course some of the structures hint that there wouldbe some more to come, but the song is cut abruptly. Musically technical modern hardcoretrash with asinger who sings more about the problematic aspects of our existence thangoing to the curch and praise the Lord. The guitarplayer has an ugly metal-poser-guitarbut he can thrash down the chords that are tuned down as it seems. Oftenpeople around me complain about the bad sound, but fuck, you donítknow nothing!! All my thumbs up for this great and funny zine (and thisis also meant painfully honest! Had a good time reading this rag!) Mostof the reviews are about zines and that is also worth a mention! Gedanken über Feminismus/ Sexismus wechselnsich ab mit anderen Gedankensplitter, die teilweise für uns EuropäerInnenirgendwie ein bisschen "komisch" zu lesen sind (aber Leute, die sich mitUS-Kultur abgeben und auch verfolgen, können mit dieser Kulturkritiksicher viel anfangen). Trotzdem ziemlich sympathisches Heftchen, das schonnoch ein bisschen Gedanken auszulösen vermag. 1DM.

Dieses Zinehat Qualitäten, die mensch aber nicht beschreiben kann, weil sie sichdem Griff des Kritikers entziehen. Aus der gleichen Ecke kommt wohl das(one-off) Zine namens Anziehpüppe.
